Bad Säckingen palace park

Schönau palace was constructed in 1600. In 1928, the city of Bad Säckingen acquired the palace and founded the Upper Rhine Museum, which focuses on the history of the city of Säckingen and the Upper Rhine region. The palace park, with its old trees, fountains, concert stage, café, cactus garden and aviaries, is now a popular meeting place for young and old. VITA employees also enjoy spending their lunch break in the shade of the large chestnut trees because the park is only a 5-minute walk away from our branch in Spitalgasse.

"I feel like I'm on vacation when I sit on the terrace of the palace café."
