More and more patients wish to have their smiles optimized with veneers. For such cosmetic procedures, practitioners have always looked for materials with a natural play of colors and light, which provide a thin-layer thickness for minimally invasive treatments. The hybrid ceramic VITA ENAMIC multiColor with an integrated color and translucency gradient finally offers the chance of highly esthetic and very efficient CAD/CAM restorations [1]. The stable dual-network structure [2] consists of a porous pre-sintered and polymer-infiltrated feldspar ceramic and enables layer thicknesses up to 0.2 millimeters [3] with absolutely precise marginal areas [4]. In combination with the Digital Smile Design (DSD), the final outcome becomes predictable and can be anticipated with the patient. In the following case report, Dr. Mahmoud Ezzat Ghazi presents the digital and manual steps necessary by the laboratory and dental practice to successfully rehabilitate in the esthetic zone.
