Amos Harting, Dental Technician, studied at the University of Missouri in St. Louis and received a Bachelor of Science in 1978. In 1980 he completed his studies of dental technology with an Associate Degree. He is a member of the Oral Design Group, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and the Seattle Study Club.

One of his passions is to acquire knowledge and to pass it on. He conducts courses for beginners and advanced practitioners in his own training center and in all states of the USA. Inspired by his father and other outstanding dental technicians, he strives continuously for perfection. His particular focus is on the topics of veneering ceramics, unique aesthetics and the further development of communications strategies between laboratories and dentists.

Amos Harting is the third generation of his family to run the family-owned "Harting Dental Arts Lab Inc." in St. Louis, which was established 54 years ago. Amos Harting has this to say about his home town and his work:
